Free Farm to Table Dinner on Friday 6/10

On the second Friday of every month, Hearty Meals for All serves up an amazing dinner to the community at 31 College Ave at 6:00pm.  Come in and meet your neighbors!  Everyone is welcome--walk in and grab a table, you will be offered coffee, tea, ice water and a bread basket from When Pigs Fly. Dinner is prepared by a professional chef and served to you by volunteers. Almost everything is organic and fresh. Desserts are made from scratch. Come in and be a member of the community of Davis Square--get to know your neighbors, the elderly, the homeless, the college students, the young families--the community as a whole. All are welcome.

This is an amazing group. I started volunteering there 4 years ago. Local vendors such as Then Pigs Fly and Dave's Fresh Pasta have contributed food. We do prep work on the second Thursday of the month--setting up the tables and place settings, chopping veggies, grating cheese--whatever we can do for the chef when he comes in on Friday. He prepares a vegetarian meal and a non-veg meal. The volunteers serve individuals and are eat and chat with the folks who come in for the meals.

This sounds lovely! Any idea if they can accommodate food allergies/what types of meals are usually served?
