Upcoming Green Line Extension (GLX) Public Meetings
The re-evaluation of the GLX project by Mass DOT is moving along quickly. It is very important to remind the MBTA and Mass DOT that we want the Green Line Extesnion (all the way to Route 16) and the Community Path constructed.
Wednesday, March 23: Tufts University, Cohen Auditorium, 40 Talbot Ave. Medford
Wednesday, April 13: Somerville High School Auditorium, Somerville
Wednesday, April 27: St. Anthony's Parish Hall, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., Cambridge
Thursday, May 5: St. Clement's Parish Hall, 579 Boston Ave., Medford
Open House: 5:30 - 6:30 pm Presentation + Q&A: 6:30 - 9:00 pm
The reason the GLX has progressed as far as it has over the last decade is in no small part due to the dogged and determined advocacy for the project by the communities of Somerville, Medford, and Cambridge (including the great turnout at the public meeting on March 2nd at the Armory).

I own a pitchfork and I'm not afraid to bring it. Anybody got a torch?
