Not those little packets of artificial coffee-whitener; a friend of mine is looking for real cream but from goats, not cows.   We've found stores that sell goat's milk, but it's already homogenized, and seems to be kind of low-fat to begin with.  Does anyone know of a local source for goat cream?  Pasteurized is good, but preferably without extra thickeners or preservatives.  Even an independent dairy with a retail source within an hour's drive would be helpful.

I took my '99 V70 to Cinderella Carriage to have an issue fixed where I am driving along, the dash warning lights come on, the odometer and speedometer stop working, and car begins to hesitate. Can't get full power. $800 and one day later, all the same problems come back. Two days later the air conditioning compressor seizes, taking out a drive belt along with it.

After having it towed in, they do not want to talk about issue A of the $800 repair that did not work. Only of fixing new problem, or selling me a new car. I need to take it somewhere else for a second look.

So it is near Fresh Pond right now. Any ideas about where to take it? MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

So, my parking permit expired yesterday. I had forgotten all about it, because I was expecting to get a renewal form in the mail, but I never did. So I got a $50 parking ticket instead. The clerk at the parking office was not particularly sympathetic; she said that because I lived in an apartment building it probably got thrown out as junk mail. I guess it's possible, but I don't really buy it. Has anyone else gotten a renewal form in the mail in the last few months?

Anyway, consider this a friendly reminder to renew your parking permit now if your sticker has an 8 or 9 on it, or set up a reminder in Google Calendar or something for a month in advance of your expiration date. You can print out the form from the web site and mail it in: http://www.somervillema.gov/CoS_Content/documents/forms/2008-11-TPPermit-Renewal-Ltr.pdf

Hey Davis Community,

We've so far had two really great practices, but we're still actively looking for more players. We're looking for the entire spread: chasers, beaters, seekers, keepers and especially a snitch. A mean snitch at that. Preferably an ex-wrestler or current cross country running snitch that wants to muscle some nerds around.

So if you'd care to run around on Wednesday or Saturday evenings, and might be looking to make some new friends, drop me a line at: NorthPointQC(at)gmail.com OR come with a broom to our next practice, to be held this Saturday (hurricane/weather permitting) at 7:00pm still at North Point Park in East Cambridge. Again, close to the Lechmere, Science Park and Community College T stops.

Maybe we can meet on the pitch!

(Okay, it's not quite Davis, but it's close enough!)

CanoScan 8400F. ~5 years old, I think, but it worked just fine when I used it last a couple of years ago. Have at it.

Thanks.

Gone. Thanks to whoever took it!

Just upgraded to a bigger (albeit not as nice) couch... so now this adorable green loveseat is just taking up space in my itty bitty apartment.

Who wants to take it away? I can't help... totally threw out my back trying to get the new one into the apartment, sadly :( I'm right in Davis, though, and in a first floor apartment!
