Where to Go Swimming Map
I posted this last year, but thought it would be nice to do it again, since it was about 95 degrees today. I and a few other people have compiled this map of places you can go swimming in the Boston area: Boston Area Swimming. A lot of the places are easily reachable by T.
I tried to embed the map here below a cut (Thanks Ron) but apparently Livejournal isn't accepting these javascript or flash widgets. Too bad.

<lj-cut>
followed by whatever you want to put 'after the cut'.
There are some other options, which you can read about in this FAQ entry.

Sigh.
Well, you can ride to West Medford and catch it there....but maybe I should triple check before I post again.

Will you add that spot to the map? I have it in widget form on this (pathetic, neglected)blog page (http://swimmingmap.blogspot.com/) so you can add stuff without having to register on a new website or anything. Just zoom the map in and click on the spot.
I once, when desperate, swam in Spy pond. I didn't get a rash or anything, but it was pretty algea-full.
