Hi All!

Does anyone know of a non-expensive, reliable mover? I just need a couple guys to carry my stuff and a truck to move it literally 3 miles. Thought I would get recommendations from here before the craigslist crapshoot... I need to move July 1 so I would like to book it early as I'm sure it will be a busy day. Just a one bedroom to move, but lots of stairs.

i feel like this has been asked before, but i can't find it.

i need to get a bridesmaid's dress altered near davis. i have gotten simple alterations done by eleni, but wasn't sure how she fared in the formal dress area (she doesn't come off as super fashionable but i could be wrong).

also, if you can approximate how long and cost, that'd be great.

thanks, all- i will probably take it to eleni then. i just wanted to make sure b/c i have no idea how this dress is supposed to fit me so i'm relying on an expert to make it somehow look good.

I'm curious what folks' impressions are of Mike Capuano. His apparent straight talk has always appealed to me as has his position on the war. His little Brazil "junket" a few years ago and his rather lame justification for it gave me pause, as does his apparent position/resistance to legislative ethics reform. His comments in yesterday's NYTimes made me wonder if I have the full picture.
