Healthy Tomorrow will hold a sale of Christmas trees, Oriental rugs and hand-made mittens this week-end, Dec 6-7, from 11-4 at Unity Somerville, 6 William St, on the corner with College Ave near Davis Sq. Proceeds will benefit a project in Mali, West Africa, to end female genital mutilation. We are selling fairly-traded traditional rugs from Iran, Pakistan, India and Afghanistan and the trees are Balsam firs from Nova Scotia. Just in case you park right under a Somerville street sweeping sign that says the season ends on Dec 1st, please be advised that you will still be slapped with a $50 ticket. I left my car on the street last night (4th) directly next to a sign with a 12/1 date on it and got a ticket. When I called parking, they said, "Oh yeah, this year it's December 31st, not the 1st." Umm, okay, how about changing signs to reflect that??
Just a heads up so you don't go through the same aggravation.......

Hi all,

I'm a little outside of Teele Square and have a few large/small items up for sale as they aren't going to make the move.

Holiday Dishware, a queen split box spring, 2 queen bed frames with center supports, 8x10 area rug, a ceiling fan, tv stand, coffee and bed side tables, window AC, tie dye kit, and kettle bells. More will be added later.

Hoping to find these things homes before a Dec 15 move.
