For stay-at-home parents, it's hard to fill the days and be sure that your child is getting a good amount of socialization. At Kids' Cooperative Cambridge, you have the opportunity to have a couple hours a week to yourself, socialize your child and not break the bank. Some time commitment is involved, but overall it's a win!

Who we are
The Kids’ Cooperative Cambridge is a 100% parent-run cooperative playgroup for children aged 18 months to 4 years old. The fifteen member families are a community seeking a healthy, structured exploration and play environment for their children while providing some child-free time for parents. A Co-op day includes free imaginative play, music and stories, snack, art/craft time and gross motor time while the kids socialize with peers under the supervision of other adults.
How it works
Kids’ Co-op operates five days a week, from 9AM to 12PM. Each week, each member family has two days to drop off their child, and a third day when a parent attends with their child and works as a caregiver. Each family also takes on an administrative role outside the daily running of the Co-op. This system affords hands-on involvement in your child’s activities and requires some elbow grease, while keeping our costs lower than any other cooperative in Cambridge, Arlington or Somerville for children this age.
We're Moving!
Davis Square's Urban Promise at Church of the Nazarene will be our new home in the fall of 2010.
