Wait, got distracted. Anyway, one thing to note about today's deal is you have to specify WHICH location you want to redeem your coupon at. So remember to note Davis Square if that's where you want to eat. You can buy up to FIVE for yourself and as many as you want for other people (who you can then ask to take you out!). You can also combine them, should you want more than $10 of food at Spike's at a time.

I'm thinking of calling them up and explaining very politely that I was unable to read their menu on the Web, and would they please read it to me over the phone. And being implacably sweet.

They have salads as well, but really, going to Spike's for a salad is announcing "I am not here of my own free will." You really go for the hot dogs, which are addictively good.
So 2 hot dogs and a drink will come in under this voucher, 2 hot dog combos (fries, drink) will come to about $13.

The place I miss is the old Chicago Dogs place that was in Harvard Square many years ago - they sold real-deal Chicago hot dogs in the traditional way, which is a very fine thing.
