Anyone know what's up with "Offshore Radio", currently broadcasting at 88.5 FM? I first heard it a few nights ago, when they were playing an entire Led Zeppelin concert (circa 1971, I think). I guess maybe it's all classic rock (although not just the standards): tonight I've heard them play T.Rex, the Byrds, and the Who. The guy claims he's actually on a ship, but I'm thinking maybe that's just a ruse (playing up the "pirate radio" angle). Anyway, it's kinda cool, and I guess I don't want to blow their cover, but I'm curious to find out what their story is.

Sometimes pirates do turn up here though.
As far as broadcasting from a ship that could just be hype, but on the other hand that's been done before by pirate broadcasters.
