My daughter would like to view the Boston fireworks, but not from up close (i.e., dealing with crowds). Suggestions on where in Somerville we could go for a decent view of the Boston sky tomorrow night?
I also read recently that Robbins Farm is undergoing some construction (for lack of a better term) -- so there will probably be less space for the large crowd than usual.
I haven't tried this for fireworks, but sometimes my workout class at Assembly goes up to the top floor of the garage. It's a lovely view of the city, actually. And it must be almost perfectly aimed at the Charles where the fireworks boats are.
I'm thinking I might try that this year and see. So I haven't tried it, but....
I ended up too tired. I didn't realize how late the fireworks were, and I had spent much of the afternoon paddling on the Malden River. By 10:00 I was already too sleepy to go over.
