We are looking for someone to fill a very large bedroom (roughly 22 x 18.5) on the second floor of a four-bedroom apartment in Powder House Square, which is available October 1st. The apartment is spacious and bright and we share the living room, dining room, large kitchen, walk-in pantry, and bathroom. Our home has two porches, free washer/dryer in the basement, new windows installed a few years ago, new insulation installed a few months ago, and plenty of storage space in the attic and basement. Utilities are basic cable, Wi-Fi, electricity, and gas, and range from $35 to approximately $80/$100 per person a month - higher in the winter, lower in the summer. On-street parking is available with a permit. There are numerous bike lanes, paths and designated roadways nearby; 1 block from MBTA bus routes 94, 96, 80, and 89, and only an 8-minute walk to the Davis Square T stop (Red Line)
We are four women ranging in age from 20s to 50s. Our ideal roommate is someone who is pleasant, friendly, clean and picks up after themselves (!), and genuinely considerate. There will be a total of five of us sharing the apartment - one room is shared by two women who are partners. There are three bedrooms on the main floor and one large bedroom on the second floor of the apartment. This available room is the only bedroom on the second floor of the apartment.
First month’s rent ($640) and security deposit ($640) needed to move in for a total of $1,280. Please note that you’ll need to sign the lease, which ends on June 30, 2018. The landlord is not only reasonable about the rent, but is very quick to respond to any issues!
