A freezing day like this reminds me to share my recent discovery that poutine has been added to the menu at Eat At Jumbo's in Ball Square. Comfort soaked in gravy.
The owner told me (when I asked) that he unfortunately doesn't have local access to authentic cheese curds (the ones from Trader Joe's suck). But he substitutes what he described to me as "Vermont cabot," whatever that may be, and the flavor and consistency is similar to what I've had in Montreal. Gooey. Greasy. Glorious.
